In the surroundings of this quiet countryside region, whilst enjoying a magnificent landscape, you may explore the neighboring municipalities: the fortresses along the Minho River such as in Valença, Vila Nova de Cerveira, Monção, Melgaço and Caminha or, you may venture through the mountains and valleys of the Lima River, in Ponte de Lima, Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte da Barca or simply wander through the historical cities of Viana do Castelo, Braga and Guimarães.

The location of the farm also provides pilgrims to rest overnight along one of the oldest and most important routes of Camino de Santiago.
